Duties and Functions
- Formulates plans, policies and guidelines on the efficient movement of aircraft and operational equipment at the ramp both in the International and Domestic Terminals and ensures that such policies and pertinent airport rules and regulations are properly implemented and enforced;
- Directs, coordinates and supervises all functions necessary to ensure smooth flow and safe parking of aircraft at the ramps, in providing flight information assistance to the passengers and the public and in recording and updating statistical data related to the movement of aircrafts;
- Exercises general supervision and control overall activities at the apron level at the International Passenger Terminal and the ramp area of the Domestic Terminal;
- Coordinates with the Engineering Maintenance Department regarding maintenance requirements of horizontal facilities;
- Coordinates with airline companies and other entities operating in the MIAA relative to the movement of aircrafts and operational equipment at the ramp;
- Plans and assigns work to subordinates; and
- Perform other related functions.
