Duties and Functions
- Formulates, develops and implements plans, policies, services and procedures of the Division which are responsible for the operation and maintenance of all pavements facilities such as runways, taxiways, ramps, aprons, roads, flyover and drainage system at the airport complex and terminals;
- Conducts regular meetings, inspections and supervision of the Principal Engineers to ensure continuous and efficient services and accountabilities to all facilities under its jurisdiction;
- Directs and supervises the design and cost estimates of works to be done or alterations to be made on work orders or projects;
- Reviews and recommends initiated and submitted plans and applications requested by the airlines, concessionaires and stakeholders in accordance with the Authority’s regulations, government rules and regulations and engineering standards.
